Executive Summary

The 3 AM plan did not survive the afternoon. Lala's nomination ceremony produced Barrett, Chuk, and Haley — one name from the predawn blueprint, and it isn't the one that mattered most. Haley, drafted as a backdoor renom, went up directly; Chuk, explicitly ruled off the block eighteen hours earlier, went up in Drew's place; Kamu, slated as a decoy, spent the day talking his way from the block to the war room and watched his exact pitched slate — Haley, Chuk, Barrett — become the ceremony. Haley remains the stated target, and her response so far is a mutual no-use veto pact with Chuk that would leave both of them on the block by choice. Elsewhere, the concealment economy cracked twice: Dee voluntarily disclosed her BB Bribe to Devens — the one houseguest she'd twice sworn denials to — and Angela tearfully confessed her Lyric flip vote to Devens, Dee, Lala, and Taylor, hours after denying it to the same room. Time Capsule Round 4 sent Mallory in and sent her out in an Adam & Eve costume, tethered to Melody for 48 hours; no power entered play. Veto Saturday; the ceremony Devens can secretly rewrite comes Monday.

The Cold Read

Read 1: The slate was auctioned, and Kamu won the bidding. Lala ran her first HOH day as an open confessional — ten separate audiences, continuous Taylor co-piloting — and the nomination list mutated with each visitor. Angela lobbied Drew off (12:28); Taylor pushed Chuk on over Kamu (15:45); then Kamu, hours removed from being a decoy-slot nominee and the house's prime blindside suspect, staged the "Chuk Exposed Party" and pitched Haley/Chuk/Barrett with a core-four attached (16:24). The ceremony produced his slate verbatim. Read the day's power flow honestly: the pen belonged to the room, and the last credible pitch held it when the music stopped. Taylor's own framing to Chuk afterward — a "house nomination," not the plan¹ — is more candid than she may have intended. Kamu's recovery is the day's best individual play: he conceded the wall gracefully, performed isolation ("on an island"), then converted suspect status into slate authorship in one afternoon. Yesterday the truthful minority was eating the flip trio's suspicion; today one of its members redirected the entire week onto his own accuser.

Read 2: Haley moved from backdoor target to direct nominee — and her answer is loyalty theater that gift-wraps the week. The mechanical trade first: a backdoor kept Haley out of the veto; the direct nomination hands her a veto seat and a Block Buster shot — two escape comps instead of one. Lala paid for clarity with exposure. But the target is declining to use the exits. Haley's stated veto plans drifted across two evening hours from "use it on Chuk" to a mutual no-use pact — "the only way to solidify our alliance" — and Chuk is telling people he'd win the veto and leave the board unchanged. Yash's verdict ("the biggest blunder ever") is correct as stated. Nominee vows this self-harming rarely survive contact with an actual veto win, and we price them accordingly below — but note what the pact reveals: Haley still doesn't know she's the target, still audits Kamu instead of the people who blindsided her, and is now converting her one structural asset (a genuine ally in Chuk) into a suicide pact framed as solidarity.

Read 3: The troika now has an inner vault, and Angela is outside it. Dee's Bribe disclosure to Devens (22:23) is the day's most deliberate act. She held that secret through a blindside, through two sworn denials to Devens himself — and then spent it, unprompted, on the one partner whose Diamond Veto window is live this Monday. Concealment is a currency, and Dee just made a trust purchase at the exact moment ceremony-control matters most: the two of them now hold each other's weapons, symmetrically, while Angela holds neither secret and doesn't know either exists. And Angela is cracking on schedule — the 13:54 flip denial to Lala and Taylor, the 19:40 crying confession to the same audience, the midnight yard spiral, the 2 AM proposal to Dee to leak a false Taylor-orchestrated-it story, which Dee shut down flat ("too early, slippery slope"). Within her own trio, Angela has repriced in a single day from third architect to managed liability.

Read 4: The laundering still holds where it counts — because Angela confessed to the winning side only. Her audience at 19:40 was Devens, Dee, Lala, Taylor: four people who voted the same way she did. The information never crossed the line into Haley's bloc, and Angela told Taylor explicitly that Kamu gets the truth only "once Haley is out." So the arithmetic exposure is unchanged — Haley opened the day telling Angela her dreams say it was Kamu, and Angela told her not to be paranoid. What the confession did spend is Angela's credibility with the people who watched her lie at 13:54 and cry at 19:40; Taylor's glance at Lala in the moment was the sound of a file being updated. Dee's cold aside about Haley — "who the fuck cares, you have no power now" — is the trio's real posture: the deceived chair is no longer worth deceiving carefully.

Read 5: The power map is entering its decay phase. Barrett and Drew joked that Devens "definitely" has a power — a joke, weightless as evidence, but the first time anyone has attached the right name to the right fact. Mallory came out of the capsule telling people "powers 4 and 6 are already taken"¹ — which, if she saw an actual pool board in there, makes her the best-informed player in the house on the question everyone is guessing at: two powers are circulating, unclaimed by any visible punishment. Haley's phantom-power theory of the vote is wrong about the vote and right about the powers. The concealment era — five weeks of perfect containment — now has a holder-initiated breach, a correct joke, and a capsule leak all inside twenty-four hours. These things decay fast once they start.

Detailed Timeline

Alliance Standings

1. Dee–Devens (the inner vault). As of 22:23 the only fully symmetric secret-sharing edge in the house: his DPOV, her Bribe, each other's fingerprints on the flip. Everything else in the game is downstream of this dyad now.

2. Dee–Devens–Angela (the troika, stratified). Still operationally intact, but the day drew its internal contour lines: Angela holds neither instrument, confessed under pressure nobody applied, and had her one initiative (the Taylor leak) vetoed by Dee. Two members and an asset.

3. Lala–Taylor. The pen pair held through ceremony day, but note who moved the pen: Taylor swapped Chuk in, and Taylor is managing Chuk's fallout with framing that keeps her clean on both sides. Lala's Devens-out read still lives nowhere outside a Diary Room.

4. Kamu–Yash (emergent, ascendant). Loyalty oaths to Lala, a pitched core four, mutual vouching plans, and the day's slate authored from their side of the room. Twenty-four hours ago they were the suspects; the counter-bloc that couldn't form is forming — around the HOH.

5. Haley–Chuk (the nominated pair). Lala's "showmance" framing is becoming self-fulfilling: co-nominated, co-deceived, and now bound by a no-use veto pact that serves neither. The bond is real; the strategy attached to it is a liability.

6. FAP (Drew, Barrett, Mallory, Melody). Strained by the week's mechanics — Barrett is on the block feeling lied to while Drew was spared, and Mallory–Melody are literally tethered for 48 hours. Nobody is targeting any of them, which remains the group's core asset.

7. Honor Society (Angela, Dee, Lala, Taylor). Quietly the week's load-bearing antique: Dee invoked it for her heads-up ask, and Lala cited it as her only attachment. Three of its four members voted the flip together.

Conspicuous non-relationships: Haley has now gone two full days without one hard question at Dee or Angela — the misattribution does their counter-intelligence for them. Devens was neither nominated nor, on the record, seriously discussed for the block, despite the sitting HOH privately wanting him gone — the gap between Lala's Diary Room and Lala's ceremony is the week's quietest fact.

The Counter-Read

The lead read says the slate was auctioned — that the room, and finally Kamu, authored Lala's nominations. The best honest case against: Lala authored them herself, and the open door was interrogation, not auction. Look at whose interests the final slate actually serves. Haley direct is the simplest path to her own stated target — no renom dependency, no veto-ceremony choreography for a first-time HOH to fumble. Chuk was in her mouth before Kamu's party ever convened: "attached to a sinking ship" is her framing, not his pitch. And this is a player who kept her own counsel for five straight weeks, told Angela "I ONLY have the honor society" while sitting on a private Devens-out read she has shared with no living person, and told every original decoy they were safe without blinking. On this reading, the all-day round-robin was Lala mapping the house — collecting pitches to see who lobbies for whom — and the "mutation" was her landing on a slate she was already circling, letting Kamu believe he sold it to her. The discriminators are ahead: if the renom and Block Buster week track her private reads rather than Taylor's and Kamu's steering, the auction frame dies; if the veto week shows her adopting whatever the last visitor pitched, it holds. A second counter-read on Read 3: Dee's Bribe disclosure may be less strategy than fatigue — "it's a shitty power" reads like a player deflating a secret that had stopped being worth its carrying cost, and building a vault-dyad theory on one tired midnight sentence is exactly the kind of elegance this section exists to check.
